It's located in a small, quiet, 9 unit duplex village, walking distance to Gilbert Park, Lake Dora & the shops & restaurants. It's a great area for taking walks, bicycle riding & enjoying the arts & craft shows & festivals. The rent is $1300 per month for a one person occupancy. ($1,400 for a two person occupancy as there is extra wear & tear). There is a 2 person occupancy limit, no exceptions. Resident pays for individual electric & water. Owner pays for trash collection & laundry room utilities. The apartment has a newer central AC system. The kitchen & bathroom have tile floors. The living room & bedrooms have carpeting. Though there is no washer/dryer in the unit, a laundry room is only feet away, FREE of charge to you. (This saves you on your own utility costs). All our residents are long-term older adults, considerate & friendly with each other, ages 45-70. You can join us too if you are looking for a long-term quiet home. There is a one year lease minimum though I prefer residents who want to stay much longer. You must have steady income & a cash reserve for emergencies & a good rental/credit history. The 1st month's rent, last month's rent & a $400 security deposit must be paid prior to move in. Sorry, I don't allow dogs as they do bark & upset the neighbor's quiet enjoyment. A cat may possibly be allowed if it's your only companion for an extra fee. Also, I don't allow smokers even if you only smoke outside as other residents may have their windows open.
