I have rented this incredible 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the West Village for the past 7 years. I won't be in NYC for the next 6 months to a year much, so I am looking for the right renter to sublet the apartment furnished. This can be anywhere from 6 months to a year and a half. It is a dream apartment with two big bedrooms, beautiful views, and a very large, 300-400 square foot deck overlooking the Meatpacking. The huge balcony is what makes this place one of the most unique rentals in the West Village, and it is furnished with pots and plants and great outdoor furniture. It is a mini oasis in the middle of this city. The large living room and dining area opens to a huge balcony that offers a stunning view of the city. Both bedrooms have great views and the master has an en suite bathroom w/walk-in closet. I have re-done the kitchen and walk in closet in the master, as I was hoping to hold on to this apartment forever. My lease runs through August, 2020. It is currently beautifully furnished, and we can discuss keeping it this way, or you taking over the lease legally and renting it unfurnished at the rate I pay of $7900. The higher price listed in the ad ($8650) is the legal amount I am allowed to charge of 10% over the rate I pay, and accounts for renting the apartment furnished. The apartment is available for immediate move in, and can be shown at any time. And of course, there is no broker fee, but I will want to do a credit check and fill our a standard lease form and rental agreement.
