The other laundry room is adjacent to the room the swimming pool is in. It has hookups for two washers and two electric dryers. The basement has a built in safe, and approximately 3000 square feet of 5 foot tall crawl spaces with concrete walls and floors. The crawl spaces are separated into five separate zones that are approximately three feet higher than the basement living space. They can be used for storage, play areas for small children, or possibly an indoor archery range. The purpose of these spaces is to distribute the weight of the home through a grid of interior footings, rather than typical exterior footings. The original owner did this as a preventative measure for earthquakes.
