The county auditor says the home was built in 1940, but lifelong neighbors tell me it was definitely there during the 1920's. Neighborhood Description This neighborhood rarely lives "down" to its reputation. The environment does change street by street and we live on one of the best. Mostly great neighbors here. Many great organizations in Franklinton to help people who want out of the cycle of poverty that is so prevalent here. We love the location just west of downtown. All "necessities" are within walking or riding distance. If you want to take part in seeing a community change for the better, move here soon because the transformation has already begun!
