We are renting out our cozy, furnished home in North Ballard for 6 months (March 1st through August 31st) with a possibility of a longer rental. Our house is in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood with incredible neighbors and a number of kids. It is a short walk to Sunset Park and a longer walk/really short drive to Golden Gardens. It is also dangerously close to Larsen's Bakery. The 18 and the 40 buses are only a few blocks away. In the completely fenced in backyard, we have a pergola and a stone patio for warmer days. There are also huge trees that provide a perfect spot for a lazy Sunday in your hammock. The front yard has a big organic garden. If you do not want to use the garden, we will have someone else maintain it. We highly encourage you to take advantage of the space though. Either way, you will be sure to enjoy the summer raspberries that pop up. Every room in the house has a fresh coat of paint. The kitchen has tall ceilings with skylights, and a lot of counter space. There is a room in the back that we use as an office. It could be closed off to provide two living spaces for roommates. Renters will be responsible for electricity, water, internet. Unfortunately, no cats and no smoking allowed in house. Owner is highly allergic to both. Up to two house-trained, non-barking (we like our neighbors) dogs welcome! First, last, security deposit, and proof of renters insurance required.
