Hi future roommate! My name is Sha (pronounced "Shay") and I've lived in LA for almost 6 years now. I work remotely from home for a large retailer and am the mom to Tonks, the cutest 10 pound Chihuahua mix you'll ever meet. When I'm not working I'm likely at the gym, playing pickleball, reading (like a lot) or hanging out with friends. I moved into this house the weekend LA went on lockdown and over time have made it into a comfy home. I've had roommates come go, most of which I'm still pretty close with. As a fellow transplant and someone who's moved around quite a bit, I really enjoy making anyone I call roommate feel at home! Hi! I'm Tonks, and let's be real, I run this home. The girls might say they do but, they really don't. When you walk into MY home, I expect your immediate and undivided attention. That can come in any form of affection you'd prefer as long as you realize there's truly no way around it. Most people in the neighborhood think I'm a puppy because I'm so dang cute but jokes on them, because I'm 7 years old. When I'm not demanding belly rubs, you can usually find me tanning, begging for food, or barking at the people who blow leaves off my patio. My mom calls them gardeners, but I just call them intruders. Anyway, would love to have a 3rd human to wrap around my paw! THE HOUSE/NEIGHBOHOOD/OFFERING The room pictured is going for $1700 + $1000 (refundable) deposit + 1/3 utilities and is available as soon as August 15TH and by September 1st. You will be sharing the large bathroom with Alex. The house is located near Plummer Park. Just down the street (15 min walking) you'll run into a Target, TJ's, Whole Foods, bars, gyms and more! Our house has a front patio, Permitted Parking (you'll have access to a guest pass but you're also welcome to purchase a perm pass from the city), FREE W/D unit, Central AC and heat. Landlord also lives on site (apartments behind the house) and is always super quick to fix anything! ABOUT YOU: We're looking for a female, late 20s/early 30s. Preferably who works full-time (no preference on remove vs. in office). Must be willing to sign a 6 month sublease and provide proof of income! You'll be asked to sign a sublease. No smoking in the home. 6 months then M2M.
