TransUnion Screening We run screenings one applicant at a time. If you want to apply, we reserve the unit for you for 24 hours while you complete screening. If you meet our posted requirements, the unit is yours. Application fee: $55 Why we charge this: We use a third-party service (TransUnion-powered) that charges a fixed fee for each screening. This is not a profit center for us the $55 simply passes through the exact cost of the reports. How we make this fair: To avoid tenants paying a fee with no real chance of approval, we follow a one-applicant-at-a-time system: 1. You will not be asked to pay the screening fee until you are the sole active applicant. 2. Once you indicate you want to move forward, that unit is reserved for you for 24 hours while you complete the screening. 3. If your screening meets the published requirements, the unit is yours to rent we won't move on to another applicant. 4. If your screening does not meet requirements, we'll share (as allowed by law) what part of the screening didn't qualify. Renter pays utilities. Pets fee include $50 extra for dogs and cats for free.
