    Not your typical rental! Sweet Cape Cod in the coveted and quaint neighborhood of Loyal Heights in Ballard. Fully renovated with newer kitchen & baths and updated major systems. Yard has beautiful gardens, plum/cherry/apple trees and raised bed with tomatoes that will be ready for harvest just after you move in plus large deck and hot tub. Hot tub requires liability waiver should you want it to be operational. Floorplan is two bedrooms on the main floor with full bath, living, dining, kitchen. Kitchen has lots of storage, marble countertops, gas range, super quiet dishwasher and wet bar with wine storage. Lower level has two bedrooms with media/second living room, .75 bath, separate laundry room and storage room. (Entire attic is great storage with pull-down stairs from main and fully covered with a plywood floor, btw.) Bedrooms are definitely on the smaller side. One bedroom easily accommodates a king size bed and the second bedroom on the main floor could take a queen with not much room leftover but the downstairs bedrooms would take only up to full size beds, twins or bunk beds. There is a one car garage that has never been actually used for cars (better for bikes, motorcycles, tools, toys, etc) and one off street parking place but most people on this really awesome little block park in front of their homes because parking is plentiful. This is an outstanding neighborhood! Located just one block from the highly acclaimed Loyal Heights Elementary and two blocks from one of the best bakeries, butcher and fishmonger in the city. Loyal Heights is surrounded by parks, easy walk to the beach, great bus line running down 24th Ave, and we get a nice breeze right off Puget Sound. Very idyllic little spot. Utilities are not included. Homeowner does big cleanout of the gardens and beds in fall and spring but normal yard care is not included. (There's a guy who will mow & blow for you for $40/trip during growing season.) Storage shed at the alley is not included. First month's rent is required to hold the property. Security deposit can be paid in full at time of move-in or paid over six months in accordance with Seattle's regulations. Pets are allowed with $500 additional deposit per pet- no "pet rent" (what a silly thing!). Strongly prefer no indoor cats but indoor/outdoor cats are easy as are up to two dogs (size doesn't matter- actually prefer big dogs because they are typically lazier and less destructive!). You will be asked to provide the following for a completed application: proof of credit above 720; proof of household income at least 2.5x; proof of three years of solid rental or home ownership history; two months of bank statements. Paper applications are available at the property.
