This is our home where we spent over 20 years of our happy lives in living and raising our son at. In this house, not long ago, we changed nearly all the ceiling fans and window air conditioners. There is a lovely pool, and an enchanting mango tree, plus a lot of yard space for kids and your dog to play on. We recently changed the asphalt driveway with a brand new, clean concrete one. Twice per month our yardman and his crew come in to clean and tidy up the yard. Our pool technician visits the house once every week to make sure the pool is properly taken care of. During the day, there is some traffic on Mokapu, but at night, there is near silence, and we can even hear the waves crashing on the shores of the Kailua beach (15 minutes away on foot). There is a friendly shopping center nearby with a handful of restaurants, barber shop, Safe Way, gas station, Starbucks, and a host of other shops. Aikahi Elementary, Kalaheo Middle as well as High Schools are nearby. On the top of all this, we have our Kaneohe Marine Base and the benefits of Military families living nearby which is surely a major advantage. Lots of Aloha The owners pay for the yardman's visits twice per month and the pool technician once per week. Tenants are required to make sure these folks will have parking space and access to the house when they arrive. Tenants pay for water, electricity, and all use of the base utilities. Tenants are expected to make sure all the waste bins are collected and emptied on the days advertised by the City and County. The owners hand over a professionally cleaned house to their new tenants and at the end of their lease, they expect to receive a professionally cleaned house. Tenants are responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy house during their stay. That includes of occasionally watering the yard during very warm days, collecting leaves off the surface of the pool, adding water when the pool's water levels go low.
