BEWARE of Zillow. While my property was listed for sale as a FISBO they stubbornly, no defiantly, kept their z-estimate artificially low, much lower than what I later sold the house for. For instance, the house next door, of similar sf and room count, was priced 35% higher. Go figure. I reached out on several occassions asking them to kindly perform a reivew. They refused. Ultimately, their low estimate seriously hampered my sale. But one noticeable concidence repeatedly occured: I got a lot of low-ball offers from the Zillow site. Collusion?
