I am looking for a dog-friendly roommate to move in as early as mid July, though I am flexible for later to find the right fit. My home is located 5 mins from Levis Stadium, across the street from the Rivermark area (Google Safeway Rivermark for reference) in Santa Clara. to SJC airport: 5mins Its a quiet neighborhood less than 1 block away from parks and walking distance to grocery shops and restaurants. Most of the neighbors have lived there for decades and are very friendly and all know each other. The house is a bit more updated from the photos (dining room added, more decor, etc). House features a modern kitchen with a gas stove, Central and AC, double pane windows, front and back yards (both fully fenced), a grill and patio furniture, multiple skylights, hardwood floors, and tons of fruit trees (avocado, persimmon, orange, kumquat, peach and pomegranate), etc. There is a garage for some storage but parking would be on the street (which is ample) There are 2 options for rooms, a 11x10 and 11x13, with a bathroom (which would also be the guest bathroom). Both bedrooms have mirror closets. Looking for: singular tenant (no couples) to rent 1 room. Lease would start at 1 year with an option to renew for 1 year increments. Dogs or cats can be considered with additional deposit and pet rent if they are well behaved and show no issues with my dog. Tenant must be dog friendly and comfortable with big (80lb+) dogs that shed. Looking for someone who is clean, can contribute to house chores and does not party or bring in many guests. Potential for the 2nd room to also be filled, so the bathroom might be shared with 1 other person. References from previous roommates and tenants will be requested as well as proof of income and background checks.
