This approximately 1,000-square-foot Daylight Basement apartment features a comfortable primary bedroom, plus a dedicated separate office (not legal bedroom) that is perfect for remote work or a creative space. The layout includes a private, dedicated living room situated down the hall, complete with a large window looking out to the front yard, and a cozy gas fireplace. Separate from the living room is a complete kitchen with a dining area. The space has been designed with nice finishes, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The Environment & Fit: Please note: This is a Daylight Basement unit in an owner-occupied home. We are a family with two elementary-aged kids and a small, senior dog living upstairs. Because we share the property (like the driveway, entry way and front yard), we will inevitably cross paths! We believe in mutual respect, flexibility, and open communication. We want our tenants to feel completely comfortable, and we are always open to chatting and working things out. A positive, friendly relationship is really important to us. We are respectful neighbors who value a calm, peaceful home environment, and we enforce standard property quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is an ideal setup for a tenant who appreciates a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and understands that normal, day-to-day family footsteps will be heard from above. The Layout & Quirks: We want to set accurate expectations so you know exactly what to expect! While the space is very comfortable and nicely designed, it is a partially underground Daylight Basement unit with a few unique characteristics: -Ceiling Height: The ceilings are a bit lower, sitting at about 81 inches (6'9"). It gives the apartment a comfortable, intimate feel, but it is something to keep in mind if you are on the taller side! -Bathroom Location: The apartment has a slightly unconventional layout where your private, full bathroom is located just outside the main living/kitchen area. It is still 100% dedicated to you and within your private rented space, just a few steps removed from the main rooms. -Kitchen Ventilation: Because the kitchen utilizes a recirculating microwave hood with charcoal filtration rather than an exterior exhaust, we provide a freestanding HEPA air purifier for the apartment. To help maintain excellent indoor air quality for the whole house, we simply ask that tenants run the hood vent and the HEPA filter whenever cooking. Your flat $200 utilities fee includes: High-speed Internet, Gas, Water/Sewer, Trash & Recycling Lease Details: [12-month lease / Month-to-month] Standard quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM No smoking or vaping of any kind (including tobacco and marijuana) permitted anywhere on the property Zero tolerance for illegal drug use. To maintain our peaceful, family-oriented environment, disruptive behavior, parties, and public intoxication on the property are strictly prohibited.
