50’ Boat Slip for Sale w/ Amenities! - $19,500 (League City) Very Good Condition Slip length overall: 52’ The first picture I show is of the slip with my 32.5 foot Irwin sailboat parked in it. You can see the enormity of the slip for comparison. Power vessels, houseboats, non-commercial work boats, or sailboats! The slip is Dock 18, Slip 54. Annual taxes are about sixty bucks... that includes school taxes, too! Lovely Private Marina. Quiet and secluded. Quick access to Clear Lake, yet in one of the best hurricane holes in the area (The bay that the marina was built in was called Hurricane Bay by the old time shrimpers)! The boat dock comes with power and water (note: power is billed to you directly). You can get telephone and internet, too. You only pay for the electricity you use... trickle charger and occasional a/c?). Water is paid as part of your monthly maintenance fee, which is dirt cheap. The slip is 52’ long and 19’ 9” wide. The slip width was measured between the pilings at the front of the slip from center to center. Length was from the beginning of the finger pier to the end of it. Maximum boat length in the slip depends on how your boat will sit in it. The rules of the marina state that your boat cannot stick out past the end of the finger pier, so we can check that out together, carefully, before you commit. Amenities include: a swimming pool that looks out over the marina and has with deck chairs and a grill , showers, bathrooms, trash, laundry room, lots of shaded parking, a green belt, free pumpout for your holding tanks, $30 a month boat trailer storage in a locked lot, and lots of space to hang out and enjoy the marina. Quiet place to relax on your boat. Located toward the west end of Clear Lake at the mouth of Clear Creek. Private parking. Nice park-like grounds to hang out in. Across the waterway from the marina is the Nassau Bay Peninsula Park, so there's a green feel, a natural setting, when you watch the sunsets to the west. The lay of the marina, tucked away as it is, provides additional protection from tropical storm winds and surge. The townhomes and condominiums that surround 3 sides also provide a great wind break and surge break in storms! Not too deep, but not too shallow. Shallower boats are happier in this marina, especially during northerly winds in winter. When winds from the north blow a lot of water out of Clear Lake, the water level drops in the winter season for all the area marinas. Slip has tide risers and very soft bottom. This slip's finger pier has been renovated recently by the marina maintenance association. Note how nice the finger pier looks with the new finger pier renovated. The decking boards are a polymer board, so the don't fade or rot. You do need to pressure wash them now and then. And, ashore, directly in front of the slip, is a sturdy bench to sit on and watch your boat with the backdrop of daily sunset splendor! Visit and join the marina’s social Facebook group, “The Wharf Marina” to see bunches of lovely sunset pics from right there! You can also get a feel for the marina, an atmosphere of camaraderie and fellowship among boaters, from the posts on the Facebook group. Note too, in the pics, that this slip is inside the marina and up against the boardwalk, so it is tucked in the lee of the buildings. Also, it's nice to step ashore and have the grass, flowers, trees and shrubs right there at the slip. Also one of the closest slips to the parking area, yet out of the way from the main body of the marina.
