Our home is only 15 years old and has a smart thermostat for the living area and one for the sleeping area, so the energy bills are low like what you would expect from a modern place to live. We are out of town as part of the state's medical response to the pandemic and so we'd like to have someone put our house to good use while we're gone. The backyard is huge and backs up to a beautiful wooded space so the privacy is fantastic. It's definitely our favorite place to hang out on either the oversized deck or inside the treeline where the firepit is. The deck is over 1,000 sqft, has a dining area, a seating area, and a lounging area. Perfect for kids and pets and meant to be used. The driveway is very large and has a sizable basketball court with height-adjustable backboard. There is a guest suite separate from the rest of the bedrooms, which is great for hosting someone, or if you need a safe place for someone to go if there is a concern about someone in the home being sick with everything going on right now. The master suite has plenty of room and includes a projector and screen we use for movie nights with the kiddos. You're welcome to use the space for anything else you may want instead. Two large closets for the parents and a great soaking tub with jets. For the kids, there are 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Two have really comfy bunk beds and share a Jack & Jill bathroom and the other has its own bathroom attached. Also, there's a large flex room on the third floor that we've turned into a giant play room. Perfect for movies, video games, art and crafting, as well as having a huge couch that fits a ton of kids. We have a blow up mattress that matches up with the C-shape perfectly and this turns the couch into a gigantic space to hang out and can easily fit 7-8 kids for a sleepover on top of the 5 beds in the kid's bedrooms. There's a nice-sized workout area in the basement with about 500 lbs worth of plates and two sets of dumbells going up to 50lbs per arm. Perfect for people who don't want to go to the gym during the pandemic or who prefer to workout at home. There's also the neighborhood pool just up the street for fun with the family and for swimming laps in the morning. Basement also has a lot of space if you have things you'd like to keep in storage.
