    What's special

Large sunny 1 bedroom apartment on an awesome block! Wonderful wooden porch and garden in the front yard. Newly painted with nice newly sanded hardwood oak floors. The living room has an extra-large window which looks out onto the back garden, the windowed kitchen has lots of cabinets and a new stove. The bathroom is a full tiled bath. There is a coat closet and large bedroom closet. There is currently a table and chairs and a twin size mattress in the apt. They can be used or removed. About the block of 130th St.: Astor Row is the name given to 28 row houses on the south side of West 130th Street, between Fifth and Lenox Avenues in Harlem. Designed by Charles Buek,[1] the houses were built between 1880 and 1883 on land owned by John Jacob Astor. The design of the three-story brick, (originally) single-family houses is unusual, in that they are set back from the street, and all have front and side yards an oddity in Manhattan as well as wooden porches. The first group of houses, numbers 8 through 22, comprises freestanding pairs, while the remainder, numbers 24 through 60, are connected together at the rear. The Astor Row houses were designated New York City Landmarks on August 11, 1981.[3] Closest trains: 2, 3 at 125th & Malcolm X Blvd (Lenox). A,C,B,D at 125th & St. Nicholas Ave. Prospective tenant should be able to provide proof of employment, a good credit check and any other financial documentation which would help benefit their application.
