Lots of wood and marble throughout the condo. The den is currently used as an office but can be easily converted into a small bedroom (perhaps for a baby). Extremely walkable destination in the quietest neighborhood in Philly. And to top it all off, check out all the amenities the Naval Square community offers: gym, pool, concierge, huge shared event space in the historic building, and the parade grounds in the front of this gated community. # Random fun facts about the unit * Every building in Naval Square has different layouts and finishes. Pemberton is unique and the only building with the gym and the pool. * Pemberton is the only building where you don't have to go outside to get to the gym. * The pool has adult-only hours. * Personal trainers frequent our gym (prices vary). * Just about all pets are allowed and there are a many dog walkers in the area. * Naval Square has a network of dog-friendly zones with free baggies. * Gym has showers, bathroom, kitchen, and large empty room that can be used for yoga, dance lessons, or small meetings. * Many of Naval Square's spaces are reservable and most are free (some require a small cleanup fee). * The wall surrounding Naval Square is historic and was recently restored. * There are 800 residents in Naval Square with an active Facebook group, social events (new moms, gardening, art, book club), etc. * There are at least a dozen hidden benches around the community, and many of them have attached tables for a secluded picnic. There is a small cleanup fee. * We service our AC/heating/water heater twice a year. * The water heater is new and huge (85 gallons) you will virtually never run out of hot water. * The shower is new. * The trash chute is right around the corner, next to the elevator (close, but not so close so you can hear it). * Parking space #8 (which comes with the unit) is big enough for a Ford F150 truck. * The Juliette balcony is fantastic in warm weather. * Water is free (included in the HOA). * Our water heater is set to low power to conserve energy, so the shower takes ~30 seconds to get scorching hot the first time you run it. Feel free to crank up the power. * Our gas bill is typically less than $10/month. * Our electric bill is always around ~$100/month year-round. * The unit has Google Next smart thermostat and smart smoke/CO detectors that talk to your phone through WiFi. * Unit is wired for both Comcast Xfinity and Verizon FiOs. * Naval Square Administration offers inexpensive handyman services to fix small things, hang TVs, etc. Water is included in the rent. The renter pays gas, electric, and condo insurance. We maintain AC and heating units annually. Pretty much all pets are allowed. No smoking.
