We are subletting our wonderful, sunny, 2 BR furnished ranch house from the 1950s with a front porch and backyard. It's about 2850 sq feet, including a furnished basement (TV room, washer/drier and work station) and 2 car garage on a corner plot walking distance from downtown Lafayette. There is a master bedroom with a king sized bed, and a second bedroom with a twin bed, and a room we just use for wardrobes. It has 1.5 bathrooms and mostly hardwoord floors on the ground floor and carpet downstairs. It's a great place for a smaller family, couple or a single person. It's has an open solution with the living room spilling into kitchen and into the sunroom in the back, which we use as an office. We ask for the first month's rent upon moving in and a refundable security deposit of $1000. Rent is excluding utilities and lawn care. The fridge and freezer are new and there is a dishwasher. Move in date is around August 29th, but this is flexible. The house will be technically available from June and onward, however, we have set aside most of the time for cleaning out possessions in August. The location is great, just a block off of Kossuth st, on S 11th st and Virginia street. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. There is a possibility that we will rent this out for several years. We ask for the first month's rent upon moving in and a refundable security deposit of $1000. Rent includes all utilities, lawn care and bi-weekly cleaning. Move in date is around August 29th, but this is flexible. The house will be technically available from June and onward, however, we will try to have some work done on the backyard deck over the summer and we have set aside most of the time for cleaning out possessions in August. There is a possibility that we will rent this out for several years. We can be flexible about rental time, but 12 months would be good. No smoking or pets allowed.
