The unit has one bedroom and one bathroom, plus a huge den, and is located in the extremely charming "Between the Creeks" neighborhood of Takoma Park, which borders Washington, DC. Features include: -An open floor plan -Light-filled living and dining rooms -A freshly renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances -A bright, newly built bedroom -A modern, spacious bathroom -A private entrance with a small patio -A huge, landscaped back yard -An in-unit washer and dryer -Ample off-street parking The apartment is just one block away from a beautiful stretch of the Sligo Creek Trail with a playground, bike paths, picnic areas, and hiking trails through old-growth woods. It's an easy 8-12 minute bus ride to the Takoma Metro Station in DC and to Takoma Park's vibrant downtown historic district, which has a variety of shops and restaurants (Koma, Busboys & Poets, Takoma Beverage, Cielo Rojo, Ace Hardware, Yoga Heights, Roscoe's Neapolitan Pizzeria, Spring Mill Bread Company, Takoma Park-Silver Spring Food Co-op, to name a few.) Downtown Silver Spring is also a quick drive or bus ride away, and it offers an even wider variety of shopping and entertainment options, including chains like Giant, Cold Stone Creamery, Regal Cinemas, and Whole Foods. A few things to note: -There is an additional $75/month fee for internet and utilities (heat, electricity, water, and trash pick-up). -The kitchen is small but fully functional.
