House located within walking distance of a bus stop. Downtown, VT Campus, VCOM, and Vet School are about between 1.0 and 1.5 miles from residence. Pictures are of house occupied by previous tenants. The house has three bedrooms and baths, single car garage, mud room, a large kitchen, dining and living room, and a full basement (1/2 is finished). It also has a screened in porch, large back deck, and a very large yard with large oak trees, and woods at the back of the property. Lawn care is included with the rent. House has gas heat, a stove, dishwasher and refrigerator, and a washer/dryer in the basement. Tenants pay all utilities, cable and Internet (cable modem with wireless). The room for rent is 1/2 of finished basement, with large bedroom, own bathroom, and a small seating/study area open to the rest of the basement. The basement is above ground and has full windows and a door into the back yard. We thought this would be a nice area for a student who needed some space to study and/or someone who desires a more private and quite space. Rental share is $450, and is based on amount of private space compared to the other smaller bedrooms and baths. You will have access to and use of all areas of the house and will be encouraged to fully use the entire house as your home. Pets are allowed with approval of rental agency and extra security deposit and rent per month. Must be approved by and sign the lease with the property management company.
