    Spacious beach house, a duplex, a year round spring, 3.29 acres & 282ft waterfront located in Edna Bay Alaska. The Beach House is a spacious & comfortable Alaskan style home. The older part was once a float house, & it has a large, newer, 2 story addition. The Duplex is a little ways away from the Beach House, giving it privacy. Both apartments are almost identical, with an open kitchen living room & bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The spare room in the middle is on the upper level, this can be opened & locked from either side if you need another bedroom or even a meeting room for your groups. The sellers said that they get a lot of requests to rent them longer term to the forest service, and many more requests for vacation rentals during summer. Both homes include generators, propane ranges & on-demand hot water, and the property also has a hardline phone & excellent internet. The Duplex has efficient propane heaters & the Beach House has a Blaze King wood stove. There are also several useful outbuildings, lots of flowering perennials & lots of garden space; everything you need to get off and running for a new life is right here! Edna Bay is in very close proximity to places like Warren Channel and Whale's Head which have excellent salmon, halibut, and rockfish fishing. With fuel now available, you can fish all summer long without having to worry about running out of fuel. People travel from all over the world to fish in the area that will be 20 minutes away from Edna Bay. Edna Bay is an off-the-grid, 2nd class city with 40 full time residents located on the NW side of Sea Otter Sound. Accessible by boat or float plane only. Unleaded, diesel, and heating fuel is available for purchase. There is also a newer State Dock to moor boats, and a road system which accommodates full sized vehicles. Most residents also keep a vehicle in Naukati to access the road service on Prince of Wales Island which includes larger grocery stores, an airport with reliable flight service to Ketchikan, and medical clinics. It is a 40 minute boat ride to Naukati from Edna Bay. With the recent addition of Starlink internet, blazing high speed internet is available for work, homeschooling, or streaming movies in these remote locations. Vehicles and supplies are transported to Edna Bay by a barge. Edna Bay also has a store, school (not currently open) and a library. There is also playground equipment for the kids at the school. Taquan Air flies in on floats 3x a week weather permitting. No property tax.
