Our spacious and forested property just outside of downtown Ithaca is in a retrofitted barn. While we use the upstairs as a secondary lake home, the downstairs is a large, one-bedroom/one-bath apartment and is currently under FULL renovations. Really, it's quite spacious. While already furnished, there is plenty of space to add your own desks, additional furniture, belongings, and whatever else you would like. The kitchen is fully functional with oven, stovetop, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a semi-stocked kitchen. In addition, you will share our grass yard and plenty of parking space for up to two cars. Updated photos will also show the many plants and flowers we have planted:) We are directly next to Buttermilk Falls State Park, a 5-10min bike ride to downtown Ithaca, and a ten minute drive to Cornell or Ithaca campuses. Places like the Ithaca bakery and Purity Ice Cream are five minutes by car. The Walmart, Wegmans, and other shopping centers are even less. This apartment is ideal for a couple or single person employed in nearby businesses/university or for a couple/single graduate or PhD student(s). We are not looking to host messy, careless, or exceedingly loud tenants. We ask for respectful, kind, and responsible renters that are looking for a peaceful, green, spacious place to call home.
