Set in the woods, Windwood Cottage is a three story unfurnished dwelling with a full deck across the back toward the sunrise view. Artists and writers have found it a delightful environment to pursue their creative work, but it also an appealing home for a family with children. The living room has a stone fireplace. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and is all electric with central heat and air. The baths, kitchen and sun room are all ceramic tile. Hardwood floors are in the living room and bedrooms. The Master bedroom and bath are on the top floor along with another bedroom. On the main floor is the living room, sun room, two bedrooms and a bath as well as an eat-in kitchen. The kitchen comes furnished with a full electric range and a side by side refrigerator freezer. All the windows have blinds or curtains. On the lower floor there is a large bonus room = ideal for an office, study or playroom = along with plenty of storage and laundry hook-ups. There is a covered stone patio connecting the deck to the bonus room. The setting in the woods is fairly maintenance free as there is little yard work to do. There is a generous area for parking and cable/internet connections are prewired. LOCATION: It is quite cozy and private, but close to the post office, libraries, shopping, and restaurants. Just South of Chattanooga, Tennessee, it is located half way up Lookout Mountain on the Eastern slope. The finest Elementary (grades 1-6) school in Tennessee is less than five minutes away. Set in the woods where some of our Civil War was fought, it has a lovely sunrise view toward historic Missionary Ridge. It is within minutes of direct routes to Knoxville, Tennessee = Nashville, Tennessee = Atlanta, Georgia or Birmingham, Alabama. Each of these major American Cities is less than two hours away and have airports. Windwood Cottage will be available July 15, 2016. The rent is $1,500.00 per month on a year's lease. I do make a consideration of $50.00 a month for prompt payment.
