    Available November 1, 2019. We relocated to a different state for work and began renting out our home in March 2015. We have had great renters so far and are now looking for our next ones. In fact, our most recent renters loved the neighborhood so much they are buying a house here and will be ending their lease with us at the end of October. We are smack dab in the middle of the city (literally). On S. 35th off Randolph. This home is perfect for professionals at UNL or anyone that works downtown Lincoln. Our home was built in 1923. Original hardwoods and built-ins throughout the first floor. (The 2nd floor does have carpet.) We only lived here a year and a half, and the couple who owned it before us took immaculate care of it. It is a home that appeals to those who like older homes. But updated features, including recessed lighting in the main room, make it unique and one-of-a-kind. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and a full bath, and a full bedroom and full bath upstairs. (3 bedrooms/2 full baths). That is a rare find for homes in this neighborhood, to have 2 full baths. One of the downstairs bedrooms can be used as a library/den, but we used it as our bedroom. Cats and/or dogs are okay, but size/number restrictions apply - message us for more info. If approved, each pet is an additional deposit (due at the time of signing lease) of $150. We want to note that we love pets, but we have learned our lesson over the years as landlords. Anyone dishonest about the size/number/breed/etc. of their pet(s) will be removed from the property immediately, and that tenant(s) will also accept the consequence of losing their pet fee(s), deposit and rent money. This will be legally agreed upon in the rental contract. A relative lives just down the street and is the property manager for us, so you are in good hands. He also mows the lawn - that is included in your rent cost. (Snow removal not included.). We just want a renter/renters who take good care of our home that we love very much! Rent is $1600/month plus all utilities - except garbage pickup. That is included in your rent. It is unfurnished. However, there is a washer/dryer in excellent condition and full-size freezer in the basement for your use. The kitchen comes with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. There is also a built-in wine rack. We just had a new AC unit put in August 2019. 12 or 24-month leases only. Buyout terms are 60-days notice and 1 months pay in rent. A security deposit of $1600 and the first month's rent ($3200 total) must be paid in full at the signing of the lease agreement via PayPal. If the lease goes well, the security deposit will be considered the last month's rent. Once the lease begins, monthly payments must be made via PayPal by the first of each month.
