If the house is listed tomorrow, July 24, you can contact me and I will respond Please do not submit an application until you have visited the property and met with me. Our last tenants stayed for many years and we're looking for a good fit-not just a renter. Well maintained Downey bungalow in walking distance to downtown Downey (restaurants, bars, Porto's, Grocery Outlet, banks, movie theater and Saturday morning farmer's market), historic McDonalds, Dollar Store and Stonewood Mall. Walking distance to public transportation-major bus lines. This is a great location however parking can be an issue. If you have more than 2 cars this may not be a good fit for you. There is a shared driveway. New ceramic tile floors, fresh paint, new electrical outlets. Garbage disposal, refrigerator and existing washer and dryer. Well maintained front and back yards. Plenty of space for a backyard patio set. Rio Hondo Elementary, Griffith Middle School and Warren High School are the local schools for this address. The house is divuded into 2 sections-the main house includes the kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a nice wood paneled annex that can be used as an office nook or baby room. The bathroom separates the two bedrooms. The second bedroom can be accessed through the hall or the kitchen. It has a nice closet space. The second part of the house is a well lit bedroom with its own 3/4 bathroom. It can be accessed through the kitchen or the back yard. The laundry area is in the hall that goes to the back yard. There is a back house on site. My son lives there and manages the property. There is a garage space for storage. Deposit is first and last month plus a security deposit. A payment schedule is possible. Month to month rental agreement. Landlord pays for trash/water and gardener. Tenant is responsible for all other utilities. Tenant must water front and back yards 2-3 times a week. Although the listing says no pets, small indoor pets will be considered (less than 15 lbs).
