History buffs will love this one, the house is No. 31 on the list of Historic Buildings in Mokelumne Hill. Seller says it was built in 1852, not 1945 as per the Assessor's record, by the Chinese, out of hand carved stone (Rhyolite) from just up the street. This is a National Folk-style stone house built by Jacob Kasserman who lived here until the 1880's.
