    You can own the top or your own mountain, the west half of Mount Bailey at elev 9089 ft. The US Geologic Survey Monument from 1944 is at the top on your own property. This is a rare opportunity for you to buy. East half of Mount Bailey is Weakland-Fawks Park. That park has a hiking trail to the top of the east half. This property is not in Burland HOA but you may, if desired, join as a friend to Burland without voting rights. More info on Burland HOA: burlandhomeowners.org Driveway for this property is built with a level building site one-third up the mountain. Trees at that site are cleared for a wide-angle view to the north to see Lone Rock, Lions Head and Rosalie Peak (13,575 ft). Views to the west include Mount Logan (12,870 ft) & Crooked Top Mountain. The home you build may have views, from upper floors, to the west towards snow capped mountains up the Platte Canyon toward Kenosha Pass. Driveway continues past this 1st building site several hundred feet farther up the mountain with a second possible building site. Old deer trails continue up to top with 270 degree views to the east, south and west. Views are incredible but be aware of cliffs and wildlife on the mountain.
