I'll be moving out of Ann Arbor next year so I am looking for somebody to take over the lease of my apartment for 2014-2015. The lease officially runs from August 15 2014-August 17 2015, but the move in date can be as early as July to as late as Oct 1. The apartment is located in a great house located close to the University of Michigan and the bus stop. It's really spacious for a 1 bedroom, with large windows, hardwood floors, and lots of storage space. There are two other units in the house, one upstairs, and one behind. There is one parking spot included. The unit is heated with gas furnaces and keeps warm during the winter months. There is no air conditioning but I found the windows and fans kept it nice in the summer; you could always add a window air conditioning unit. Laundry is provided in the basement for an additional $12 a month for unlimited use and shared with the house. The rent is $975 (exactly what I would have been paying) and the deposit is 1.5 times the rent. Utilities per month run approximately: Gas & Heat: $10-100 (high in the winter, low in the fall and summer)Electricity: $25Internet and Cable: $70 ($30 if you just want internet)Laundry: $12 I've really enjoyed living in the apartment and making it my own.
