I fancy myself a wordsmith, but this home is a headscratcher. It's as if the Brady Bunch lived in a tree house. Best I can do off the top of my head. There's no reason to show photos of the inside. It's being cleaned up for the estate sale. Things are a bit askew, but not so bad that you can't get an idea of dimension. Full disclosure, the upstairs "bedroom" (classified a bedroom by property appraiser) is a loft-type setup that can definitely be a bedroom with a bit of modification. As for the layout, it's just a unique floor plan. There's lots of windows, decks and balconies, a few flat roofs that could accommodate a deck to provide a killer spot for an evening glass of wine or a morning coffee. The living room has huge windows facing the setting sun, and the family room has ten skylights. Wait, maybe it's the family room that has the tall windows, and the living room has the skylights. I dunno... but I digress. There are only six homes on the entire street, and only two on this home's side of the road. There is an additional lot that conveys with the property. It's build-able, in theory. In reality you'd probably have to move half of DeLand's soil into the depression that comprises most of the lot. But... it's a REALLY nice buffer and gives the place such solace. And while taking measurements and trying to find the words for this write up, I couldn't help but enjoy the Koi pond out back. Very tranquil. We've priced based on square ft, but heirs know it needs work. Just take a look and see.
