There are local vineyards, and one is on the opposite side of the reservoir from the house. It is a 30 minute drive to Providence (capital of Rhode Island) a small and beautiful city overflowing with every sort of cultural enjoyment. Boston is a 60 minute drive, 40 minutes to glamorous Newport and 20 to the old whaling port of New Bedford. Plenty of parking on the grass at rear of the house.
