Neighborhood Description Barclay Court, which this house is in, is a mix of families and ages (grandparents down to singles and single parent families) and cultures. There are children of varying ages and friendly neighbors. Pine lake townhome development, with lake surrounded by a scenic walking path is North West of us. Water fowl can often be seen flying over or occasionally a mallard couple in the parking area. Most of the other surrounding homes are single family. The wooded area behind the West side of the development (which this house is on) is set aside for the school district, but no date for development yet, so foxes, deer, owls and other wildlife can often be observed in the edge of the woods. The main intersecting road is not overly busy and Richmond highway with newly remodeled and expanded shopping areas and brand new housing developments is one block over. If you have a dog or children you could very nearly be in heaven. If you just like to see other peoples dogs you can do that or get a fido fix as they are all happy to let fido meet new people. I have yet to come across the downside of pets as the neighbors are concientious about cleaning up after their pets. The HOA is relaxed and has very reasonable rates that have not been raised in several years. The commute from here to almost anywhere is easy.
