When purchased in late 2014, we started major renovations - gutting most of the house down the the studs, updating electrical (including updating the main box, and placing lots of extra outlets on the main floor) and plumbing (including full tub and shower unit) as needed, as well as putting new insulation in the gutted walls. Additionally, a new Trane Heating and Air Conditioning unit was installed, and many of the main floor windows were replaced with new ones. In 2016, a new sewer clean-out with backwater valve and pex to the city owned section was added. Last year, the city replaced the rest to the main lateral (it seems that sometimes the city owned part starts slightly before that). While living here, we have also re-roofed and painted the garage, and just this year replaced the main house roof. Currently, we are in the process of repainting as we had a lot of wall hangings, and putting the trim back on the main floor (this task has been on hold since taking it off, but it should look similar to the sun room for most areas as we kept the original trim in the garage).
