Great house with 2 car garage! The dining room and living room have neat refinished hardwood floors. Living room is 11' 6" x 17' with a large closet and the dining room is 12' x 13'. The kitchen has a nice kitchen countertop, sink and faucet. The kitchen is big enough for a kitchen table as well. The bathroom has a newer toilet, vanity, sink & faucet as well as flooring in the bathroom and landing. There are mini-blinds on all windows. There is a back porch area that contains the washer/dryer hook-ups. Fridge and stove included. The back yard has a very large area fully fenced in with a gate right off the back door of the house. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs that have carpet. Some tenants have used the main floor living room as their bedroom as there is a closet in it as well. The basement is just one small room, but has some storage available and is great during tornado season. The house has central heat and air (the old floor register is there but serves as the return air, no longer the heat source) and there is an oversized two car garage with a good sized yard and extra parking. The property is very secluded especially in the summer with the trees and shrubs. Renters insurance is required. This house is just blocks from the high school and middle school making it very easy for kids to walk to HS & MS as well as catch a bus to the grade school or elementary school. The house is in a nice neighborhood in Clay Center. Clay Center is a great small community with everything you need located here. We are about 35 minutes from Fort Riley and 40 minutes from Manhattan and Junction City. Clay Center has many wonderful things for a small community including our new new Water Park several years ago, a fully remodeled zoo, public and private golf course and a new $200,000 park that was built in in the last 10 years. This is a great place to raise a family or to just get away from the Fort Riley/Junction City/Manhattan area. The deposit is the same as the rent. Animals would be considered as long as they are at least a year old. $35.00 pet rent would apply, as well as a pet deposit (half is refundable) which was equal to 1/2 of the rental rate including pet rent.
