You can have access to the full kitchen and dining area if you like to cook and are willing to coordinate with the owner. This is a great place to live with easy access to all of the Chicago area. The neighborhood is fantastic ... we're walking distance to the Blue Line and just off the 290 expressway. Also within walking distance is two grocery stores, dry cleaner, banks, three restaurants (including the best sushi in Oak Park) two pharmacies, a church. Downtown Oak Park is about a mile away, as well as Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. The neighborhood is quiet and this house is like a little retreat. The backyard is overflowing with flowers and there's a deck, BBQ and patio if you like being outside. The room is located in the lower level of the house, down about five stairs and the bathroom is on the first floor, up one flight of stairs. The bath is basically private. Sometimes the owner uses it during the day, but not for grooming. There is another tenant on the lower level who travels for a living and is here only 2-3 days/month who also uses that bathroom for grooming (and will always put your schedule first). The two lower level bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house and share no common walls. The owner lives on the property with a lifelong friend. Both have bedrooms and bath on the second floor. Everyone in the household is vaccinated against Covid 19.
