Fully furnished 3-bedroom "Eco home" bordering National Forest on the outskirts of Frisco available for three months during peak ski season. Our house is a hand-crafted, environmentally-conscious Rocky Mountain retreat. The property borders hundreds of acres of National Forest and is located on the recreation/bike path on the outskirts of Frisco, a 20 minute walk to Frisco's "Main Street of the Rockies" with loads of restaurants, cafes, live music, shops and the free Summit Stage buses to all of the local ski areas (Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapaho Basin). It's a quiet, beautiful home-base for winter outdoor activities, including hiking, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing and sledding right out the front door. Although Frisco has easy access to 6 ski areas, it is quieter and less crowded than some of the neighboring towns. Stay warm and cozy in our fully furnished, fully equipped 3-bedroom home with great views of the Rocky Mountains. Our home's style is in line with our historic and idyllic Bill's Ranch neighborhood and our eco-home is unique among other cabins, with solar power and radiant heat floors, and our intentional repurposed building materials and furniture. Bedrooms are downstairs for cooler sleeping and the upstairs is open with lot of windows for light and views, a vaulted ceiling and wood stove. We have a far infrared sauna in a small detached cabin. You will have access to our two car garage with an EV charger and ample room for storing skis and other outdoor equipment. There is also plenty of parking in the driveway. Access is through the garage or the front door, which is up a set of outdoor stairs, and may be difficult, especially in the winter, for elderly individuals or those with mobility challenges. We completed our home in 2006 and feel fortunate to live in one of Summit County's most historic and unique neighborhoods, in the quiet, beautiful outdoors, but with easy access to town. Although this is our primary residence, we are opening up our home during our three month sabbatical, from January 10-April 10, 2027. The use of a two car attached garage and EV charger are included in the rent. A background check, credit score, lease agreement and deposit are required.
