I bought this house almost 2 years ago after graduating from physical therapy school and starting a job in the area at a small pediatric hospital. I was hoping this house would be a starter home in a beautiful, fun, and exciting area of Baltimore. It was everything I had hoped for and more. When looking for my perfect house, I was so drawn to the character of this home- the large front windows, the original trim, the exposed brick wall in the living area, and the transom windows above the doorways. The way the house had original touches with new updated open spaces like the kitchen made it special and something I didn't find anywhere else. It is something I will miss a lot. I will also miss the location of the house. Having the option to walk down the street to Wyman Park and feel like I was completely out of the city, or 2 blocks up to the avenue and be in the heart of Hampden to explore the local shops and restaurants is something I don't know if I will find anywhere else. I look forward to returning to Hampden for some of my favorite restaurants and every winter season for the lights on 34th street, just a block away from the house. I am beyond excited to move in with my significant other for this next step in my life, but I will never forget the time I spent at 835 W 34th St.
