We have enjoyed our time in this apartment, but we are moving for work. This three bedroom apartment, which is on the shared border between Humboldt Park and Ukrainian Village, will be available to move into by sometime this Fall. While we won't be moving for work until December, we are flexible and can move out as soon as sometime in October if that works best for a prospective renter with a good credit score (requirement by our landlord). We each have worked from this apartment in our own offices, separate from the bedroom we sleep in. You can choose between multiple internet providers. The apartment is within walking distance (a block or so) from three major bus routes (65, 65, and 94), which can take you directly to neighborhoods like Streeterville/River North/the Loop and Logan Square. Great restaurants nearby (walking distance) include Taco el Jalisciense, Taco Firme, Spinning J, and Segnatore. We often take one bus (the 94) to get to Lula Cafe. Kasama is close too. A great bar just opened up next to Taco el Jalisciense and next to the bar is an amazing gardening/plant store. We can walk to the Cermak on W North Ave as well as Humboldt Park. An entrance to the 606 is nearby. We can walk to music venues like the California Clipper and the Empty Bottle. This is a very peaceful location in the city and central if you go to both the north and south sides, like we do. There is an available parking space that is extra ($120/month), but we have found street parking to be fairly convenient (zone specific to the block the apartment is on). Guests can park on W Chicago Ave, which very often has open spaces. If you like bikes better than cars, there's a bike lane on W Chicago Ave, the closest major street to the apartment. The neighbors are quiet. The ambient noise levels are well below my threshold here. You would be on the top floor (third floor walk-up) in the large unit in the building. The apartment has been relatively recently renovated (just before we moved in), and the owner has been responsive. We will be showing the place, but will pass along the owner's rental agreement if you express an interest in signing a lease (yearly or biyearly) or sublet (through July 31, 2026). The rent is $2800 per month. There is a $40 application fee and no move-in fee or security deposit. Pets allowed Washer and dryer in-unit We're going to miss this place! Renter is responsible for internet as well as gas and electric bills.
