Easy walk to nearby highly-regarded Stratford Landing Elementary School, a Fairfax County public school. Excellent neighborhood, all single family homes on spacious lots, with underground utility lines on Porter Lane. Membership in the neighborhood recreation association is included. The association has a facility with tennis courts, large pool, and picnic areas. It also runs summer programs including swimming and diving teams. The owners reserve two areas in the home -- the attic and a room in the basement -- for storage of some personal items. I anticipate the home will be available March 1, 2025. The current tenants have expressed their ability to show the house to interested families. (As a general matter there is always some make-ready work that needs to be done between tenants.) Concerning the size of the home, I note that when these homes, with finished basements, are listed for sale (Gramercy model homes, which are widely found in the area) they are always listed at 3,200 sq ft. County tax records show 2,309 sq ft above grade. The basement is finished, walk-out, but one side is below grade. The finished basement area may not be included by the county in the square footage. At any rate, this is a very spacious home. The home could be excellent for a family with a dog as the back yard is fenced. Tours at a time/date convenient to the current tenant and person interested in renting the home. Thank you. Utilities paid by the tenant. Dogs may be permitted. Leases of one year or more will be considered. No smoking in the home please. The garage is large enough to fit a Chevy Suburban easily. Lawn care is included.
