Or, go out the sliding doors to your privacy fenced west side yard with deck and elegant patio table set. There is also a formal dining room or optional first floor bedroom with double pocket doors with two closets. The laundry room on the first floor. Follow the stairs from the entryway up hardwood steps lit by tasteful sconces up the second floor with the master suite, office, wrap around room, and room with a view of the Colorado School for the Deaf and the blind. These rooms have served as bedrooms, but can double as a library and office, reading nook or whatever your imagination brings. The master bedroom is grand but quirky. There is a huge walk-in closet, roman tub, separate shower, romantic double-sided fireplace and double vanity with granite countertops. However, the toilet is not closed off from the rest of the room so it requires a folding/dressing screen for privacy, or someone bold! The top floor is a large open space and could be used as a bedroom, game room, or entertainment room. The rooms in this house are unconventional. It is listed as a 4 bedroom 2 bath, but could easily have 5 bedroom functionality if needed for a family. This historic house was built in 1891 and remodeled around 2010. It is gorgeous, impressive, full of character, and a bit quirky. It is a fun, elegant place to entertain, with it's grand entrance, elegant dining rooms, chef's kitchen, and private west side yard. Tenant is responsible for yard maintenance in BOTH east shared yard and west private yard (847 Tenant maintains the patio only), and xeriscaped area to the street curb. Yard is xeriscaped, but tenant is responsible for keeping existing plants under control (pruning back existing roses, Virginia creeper and wisteria), and keeping mulch and rocks free of weeds. Watering is not necessary for existing plants. If pets are approved, there is a $250 non-refundable pet fee per pet and $25 per month pet rent. Strict pet rules apply - dog feces must be picked up immediately and not left in yard. Dogs must be kenneled if left inside unattended. No dogs larger than 50lbs. Vet records (and service animal or ESA documents if applicable) must be provided. All animals must be fixed and up to date on shots and vet recommended pest treatments. Cats must be litter box and scratch pad trained.
