This is a south-facing apartment, on the edge of Great Lawn Park in Lowry. Its balcony glass door creates the lighting for the entire living room and kitchen during the day, as do the three full-sized windows on the bedroom's south-facing wall. The main closet attaches to the bathroom, where there is plenty of storage, and the hallway's floor-to-ceiling, hallway-wide linen closet also has plenty of extra storage space for smaller items as well. Appliances & features: All appliances are new, top-of-the-line stainless steel with energy-efficient options. Those included are a double-door fridge with extra-deep, pull-out bottom freezer; a dishwasher; built-in microwave; 5-burner gas-lit stove (equipped with your weekend pancake griddle ;) and user-friendly-oven. The kitchen also has huge cabinets, granite countertops, a double-wide sink with removable spray nozzle, and garbage disposal. The full-sized, energy-efficient washer and dryer are stacked in the hallway, with a door to mute the noise for nighttime laundry doers. The bathroom has tile flooring, granite counters, a floor-to-ceiling 'personals' cabinet, and a soak-style tub with a rainwater showerhead. (It's definitely been a favorite room of mine to unwind in when the day is over!) I am waiving the $20/mnth parking fee :) There are also bus stops right outside the complex (#6 @ Lowry Blvd & Uinta), and the area is VERY bike-friendly if you're an eco-transitter like myself. The pool and billiard room close at 10 pm, everything else is 24/7, although the neighbors and bldg tenants are practically non-existent when it comes to unwanted noises and interruptions. The parks (on either side of us) are my favorite amenity--a natural getaway for mind-body and soul that never fails. Big Bear ice rink is also right across the street, as is the baseball field, basketball courts, playgrounds, dog parks, and walking/biking trails at the Lowry Sports Park. It's all about a 10-15 minute drive into the heart of Denver... a straight-shot across 6th ave; but nestled between Colfax and Alameda if you take either of those routes as well. Wings Over the Rockies is a short walk, and so are the bars and taverns that make Lowry nightlife so elite. Shopping and dining are all centralized off Quebec, just a few blocks west, where this is a Safeway, Qdoba, Fro-Yo, Starbucks... and countless others! Heading east on 6th or South on Havana will provide you will all your fast food, grocery, and errand-runs (all within a short bike, car, or bus ride). Hope to meet you soon! This is a subleasing offer for a 3-month period while I am studying in Europe. I am leaving it furnished but will provide as much extra storage and personals space as you need. WIFI is included, but I do not own a TV. If you're aching for your favorite shows or big games, you can always tune in and enjoy from just about any room in the clubhouse, so invite your friends! I don't smoke and ask that you don't do so inside the apartment. But I won't rule out pets, so let me know if you have one and we'll figure out a plan if all else feels right! You'll be responsible for the rent, electricity, and heating while I am gone. I am open to a $2000/mnth flat-rate fee (which could save you a bit) and make things easier on both of us while I'm gone. This is a great opportunity for anyone visiting the area for college, traveling jobs, property tours... Or even if you just want to get away for a few months... don't let it slip away!
