Currently, we have our one bedroom / one bathroom unit available starting July 1st. (We have other units available as well - 2 bed/1 bath - advertised on separate postings and on our website.) While it is a garden-level apartment, it boasts normal height ceilings, proper egress windows with good light, a fully-appointed kitchen with dishwasher, built-in microwave, disposal, refrigerator, gas stove & abundant cabinet space. The kitchen overlooks the living room in the open floor plan. The wood-planked hardwood-styled floors extend from these rooms into a generous sink area (with a cool vessel sink) that buffers the living space from the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom has tiled floors with tile accents on the wall in the nicely-sized shower (3/4 bathroom). With the million-plus dollar renovation, we were sure to include new electrical and plumbing services, eco-friendly flooring materials, water-saving fixtures without compromising some classic features such as the coved-ceilings. Outside of your meticulously upgraded apartment home comes beautiful and worthwhile common areas. The building is a secure "envelope" from the coded front door which calls your cell phone for guest entry, to the locked access from the carport area. There is a gracious patio with outdoor gas grill. The building and grounds are all non-smoking. Pet owners delight with a secured off-leash area for your dogs to do their business. The building and grounds are all designated smoke-free. And we have recycling service if that is important to you (it is to us!). Finally, you have access to off-street covered parking in our carport (extra charge). Within the building there is on-site laundry (brand-new, high-efficiency machines), extra storage lockers and included Internet access. Utilities (except electricity) are billed at a flat rate of $50/month - (water, trash, sewer, gas & heat). As mentioned, we are a pet-friendly building. The pet policy is that your dog or cat must be current on all shots, well cared for and extremely well-behaved. There is a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $250 and a monthly pet rent of $30.
