Seattle law prohibits penalties in month-to-month rental agreements based solely on a one-month tenancy. Maintenance & Repairs Landlord is responsible for maintaining the premises in habitable condition and complying with all applicable building, health, and safety codes. Tenant agrees to keep the unit clean and sanitary and to promptly notify the landlord of any issues requiring repair. Notice Requirements For month-to-month tenancy following the fixed term (if agreed), either party must provide at least 20 days' written notice prior to the end of a rental period to terminate the tenancy, consistent with Washington law. Restrictions & Rules Smoking, vaping or tobacco use (anywhere on the entire property), pets, subletting are prohibited.
