I have one room available August 1 in my upscale townhouse in Clarendon. This is not your typical shared house, where things are dirty, loud, run down, and generally college-like. We do like to have fun, and we are all friends and have a good time, but we also take care of the place because we all like to live in a nice house with nice things. The house is about 200 yards from Clarendon Ballroom, but also on the edge of a quiet neighborhood. We are 0.2 miles from the metro, literally 3 minutes by foot. The Basement suite ($1500 per month, plus utilities) includes a nice bedroom, great bathroom with incredible rainfall showerhead and outstanding water pressure, granite sink countertop. There is also a private living room which really allows the resident to have a great private space and access to it from outside the house via a private entrance. The common areas in the house feature an awesome 73 inch HDTV with DVR, recent carpet, a nice hardwood back porch and generally nice furnishings. There are three existing roommates who will remain, all guys in their mid-late 20s. I created a web page so I could give you a better idea of what the house and the roommates are like. I will provide upon request but can't post it here. I also have virtual video walkthroughs of the house available on request. The room available is the Basement Suite. Owner pays for water and trash, as well as condo fees. Renters split gas, electric and Fios service. One quarter portion of utility fees average about $70-80 per month. No pets allowed.
