I have one room available November 1 in my upscale townhouse in Clarendon. This is not your typical shared house, where things are dirty, loud, run down, and generally college-like. We do like to have fun, and we are all friends and have a good time, but we also take care of the place because we all like to live in a nice house with nice things. The house is about 200 yards from Clarendon Ballroom, but also on the edge of a quiet neighborhood. We are 0.2 miles from the metro, literally 3 minutes by foot. The Master Bedroom ($1400 per month, plus utilities) features a 40 inch LCD mounted on the wall, a full bath with tub and shower. The closet is hidden behind sliding doors and covers the whole wall of the room, double stacked and really spacious. Utilities average $70 per month historically. The bedroom includes a newly updated bathroom and a rainfall showerhead, and the water pressure is truly amazing. The vanity is black granite countertop with nickel fixtures. The common areas in the house feature an awesome 73 inch HDTV with DVR, recent carpet, a nice hardwood back porch and generally nice furnishings. There are a total of 4 BR in the house with 4 1/2 bathrooms; each room has a private bath. The room available is the Master Bedroom. Owner pays for water and trash, as well as condo fees. Renters pay for gas, electric and Fios service. Utility fees average about $70 per month. No pets allowed.
