Tenants are responsible for locking doors and closing windows when no one is present or in the event of bad weather. 11. No grease shall be poured into the kitchen sink and/or other drains. 12. Shoes with cleats shall be removed before entering the apartment. 13. All Christmas decorations shall be fireproof. They need to be removed and disposed of properly before leaving for semester break. 14. No Christmas lights hanging. 15. Furniture and other items may not be moved or removed through windows. 16. The Premises is to be kept clean at all times. 17. There shall be no modification to the structure of any of its systems unless approved by the Landlord. 18. No waterbeds, portable heating units or electric blankets are permitted. 19. No multiple outlet plugs are permitted. 20. No furniture shall be disassemble or removed without notification to the Landlord. 21. Discharged fire extinguishers will be recharged by the Landlord if the extinguisher was used on a fire and the Landlord immediately informed of such use. All other discharged fire extinguishers will be recharged at the Tenant's expense. 22. All windows and doors shall be kept closed during the heating season to save utility costs. 23. Any damages to the Premises or the Landlord's property not claimed by a specific party shall be charged equally to all Tenant's. 24. The Premises shall be thoroughly cleaned prior to vacating by the Tenant's. If this is not done to the satisfaction of the Landlord, an appropriate amount will be retained from the security deposit. 25. Bicycles are not permitted in the living areas. 26. No sunbathing is permitted on the roofs. 27. Appliances and fixtures located on the premises are to be used for its intended purposes, i.e. bathtubs and sinks are not to be used for cooling beverages. 28. Refrigerators shall be defrosted regularly, if needed. 29. No sanitary napkins or tampons are to be flushed down the toilets. 30. Strainers are to be used on all drains. 31. All plumbing that is clogged shall be repaired at Tenant's expensive. 32. No refuse is to be stored in closets, basement, hallways, or landings. 33. Furniture that is intended for inside use is not permitted outside the premises. 34. The burning of candles and incense is not permitted except on birthdays. 35. Illegal drugs and beer kegs are not permitted on the premises. 36. The premises shall be used only as a residence for the persons who signed the lease. 37. Non-tenants are not permitted to store personal property on the premises. 38. Heating and electricity shall be maintained over holidays at reasonable levels to insure no damage to the premises. 39. All repairs are to be made by the Landlord or the Landlord's agent. 40. No firearms are permitted on the premises. 41. Gas or charcoal grill are not permitted on the premises or any other property of the Landlord. 42. No deep fat fryers are permitted on the premises. 43.
