"We are two females, 25 years old, looking for a third and fourth female roommate. Available 9/1. Our apartment is large and takes up the top two floors of a three-story house in Lower Allston (there are two bedrooms on each floor in our apartment).The two rooms we're looking to rent out is on the second floor, and one of which has a window facing the street (which is a one-way and very quiet), the other faces the backyard. The apartment is surrounded by trees (as you can see in the photos, it's quite leafy!). In addition to the room for rent, we have a large shared kitchen, living room, and bathroom. We live in a quiet neighborhood and we love it that way, so we're looking for someone who is considerate and quiet as well as friendly. Because getting to know you is important to us, please do not reply to this ad if you're unable to visit the apartment before moving in. We are also a pet and smoking free apartment, sorry. Unfortunately we can only rent to a single roommate (ie no couples). While hot water is included in the $1150/month rent, we are responsible for the electric, gas, and internet bill. Laundromat is a 5 minute walk down the street, or 1 minute drive. Our neighborhood has great transportation options. If you're taking public transportation to work, you can take a bus to Harvard Square (the 66 or 86 buses) or Central Square in Cambridge (70 bus). The Harvard Ave stop on the Green Line (B trolley) is also a short ride on the 66. Walking to Harvard is also easy (about 15-20 minutes) and the Harvard Ave area of Allston is a quick 10 minute walk. I-90 (the Mass Pike) is just a few blocks away, as are the Memorial / Storrow Drives. The Charles River and the Esplanade (a park which runs along the Charles all the way into town) are both just a 10 minute walk from our apartment.
