Midcentury modern house designed by the architect Paul Hammarberg in 1946. Hammarberg's houses and buildings can be found in the Bay Area, especially in Kensington, Berkeley, and Piedmont. Distinctive window placement and house geometry are trademarks of Hammarberg's style. House expanded in 2004 by artist and sculptor Keiko Nelson. The back patio, kitchen pizza oven, and marble sculpture in the bathroom are her work.
