I am a single female (45) Looking for a responsible and considerate roommate to rent the spare bedroom in my apartment, open to all! I would be the only other person living there. The apartment: Top-floor unit on a quiet dead-end street with hardwood floors, skyline views, and lots of sunlight Hot water is included Heat is oil. Typically a tank of oil will last about 5-6 weeks. Depending on the price of oil it can range from $225-$350 per person. Coin-op laundry and small storage area in the basement. Fully furnished shared spaces There is a third bedroom that was previously used as a second living room/ home office. The Room: 12 ft 2 in X 11 ft 7 in (roughly 132 sq ft) One closet and two windows About me: I am a working professional (graphic designer) and work 9-5. In my free time I enjoy drawing in my sketchbook, reading, watching anime, and going out with friends and family. I partake in 420 edibles but don't smoke cannabis or tobacco because of the smell. I've been sober for over three years, so I'd prefer a home environment without alcohol. What you do outside the house is totally up to you. I've lived here for 15 years and have a fantastic relationship with the landlord, who lives on the first floor. I keep the place clean and appreciate a roommate who values a tidy, comfortable space. I'm pretty friendly and would enjoy sharing the occasional movie night, dinner, or chat, but no pressure to hang out all the time, but it's nice to have a friendly vibe at home. The Neighborhood: 7-10 min walk to Forest Hills T Station (Orange Line), the Arboretum, downtown JP shops and restaurants and Jamaica Pond 39 bus is at the bottom of the street (goes to Back Bay) The landlord requires a working professional with sufficient income and a good credit history. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed. In your reply, please include your name and a bit about yourself. I look forward to hearing from you! :) The lease goes until the end of September
