Historic American Bungalow constructed in 1924 for the Hensarling family. The house was divided into a duplex in the early 1930s. An additional 325sf room was added to the south in 1935. The present owners removed the separation between the two sides of the main house, again making it a single dwelling. The home appears on the Brazos County tax rolls in 1945, but we've have been told that due to a fire in the tax office, some records were lost. We do have the original bill of sale for the home, showing it built and sold to the Hensarling family in 1924.
