I am selling my house on 900 E. Butte St in Challis, Idaho. It is 1250 sq. ft. on main floor, and has a full, unfinished basement. The original owner constructed it in 1950, I renovated it in 2007. At that time I replaced all the windows, added a master bedroom/bathroom w/bamboo floor and large, heated crawlspace, replaced all the plumbing (including sewer in the yard) and replaced siding/insulation. In 2010 I built a 24 ft. x 36 ft. (864 sq. ft.), fully insulated/interior paint garage w/floor drain, 1/2 storage loft, fixed shelves, work bench, full length covered, exterior carport, and wood stove. Each garage roof truss can support 500 lbs., I have a beam that spans 4 trusses. In 2012, I refinished the original wood floors in the house, replaced the kitchen countertop, range and hood, and replaced the original roof (decking) and re-insulated the attic. The house also has a large, wood stove that heats the entire house (blower blows into furnace ducts) the original, fuel oil furnace is also functional. Last year I replaced the hot water tank. The house/garage are on .23 acres (two city lots) in a very quiet neighborhood. City of Challis water is excellent, the best I have consumed.
