Nestled right in the center of North Chatt, at the intersection of Mississippi Ave and Tremont St, is the 1903 home of E. L. Mudge. He commissioned architect D. V. Stroop to design a bungalow in an Arts and Crafts style on a generous double lot. Mudge was a photographer from Michigan and owned a portrait studio on Market St with 2 of his brothers. Fast forward 120 years or so…architect Jay Caughman designed an updated plan for this home and the work was carried out by Steve Ward of Sun Construction from Feb - Dec of 2018.
